Who we are...
We are a friendly and traditional Scout Group located in beautiful countryside in the North Yorkshire village of Topcliffe near Thirsk.
As of June 2014, 1st Topcliffe Scout Group have amalgamated with a new District following the disbanding of the Vale of Mowbray District after 70 years in existence.
We are pleased to announce that we are now officially part of Ripon & District but we will still continue to function as our own separate group.
We provide Scouting to young people (both boys & girls) aged between 6 – 14/15 years of age, primarily in Topcliffe and the surrounding villages.
On this site we aim to help keep our Scouters, parents and volunteers up to date with information about activities, photos of activities and events to show you what Scouting is like at 1st Topcliffe, to promote 1st Topcliffe Scout Group and to provide you with more information about Scouting in the UK.
