Scouts introduce additional alternative Promise
The Scout Association (TSA) has launched an additional alternative version to the core Scout Promise in order to officially welcome atheists into the Movement.
Following an extensive 10-month consultation process within and outside of the Movement, TSA has introduced an additional alternative version of the Scout Promise that can be taken by those without a faith for the first time in its 106-year history. Read more.

Topcliffe Scout Leader becomes a Queen Scout
In April 2013, our Co-Scout Leader at Topcliffe was awarded the Queen's Scout Award, the highest recognition there is in the Scout movement.
Dave attended the St. George's Day parade and review of Queen Scouts at Windsor Castle on 21st April 2013.
The review was attended by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge and the chief Scout Bear Grylls. Read more here.
